Jan has been married 40 years and has two grown children and two teenage grandsons. She accepted Christ as Savior at age thirteen and is an active member of a growing church. She is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, ACFW Writers of Inspirational Novels, Inspy Crits, Romance Writers of America, RWA’s Faith, Hope & Love chapter, Romance Writers Ink, Scriptscene, and Kiss of Death Romantic Suspense Writers groups.
She is active in two critique groups, which includes multi-published and award winning authors. Her inspirational romantic suspense entries finaled in the 2005 & won first place in the 2006 Where The Magic Begins contest and took 6th place in ACFW 2006 Genesis contest. She writes book reviews for Armchair Interviews.
